R&K’s debut collection pays homage to classic American style, while implementing the craftsmanship of British Tailoring. Here is what they have to say:

We’re all aware of the spectacular failures of the car which bore his name, but as it turns out, he actually had great taste in cars himself. For example, take Edsel Ford’s 1934 Model 40 Special Speedster ($TBA). Inspired by European rides of the late ’20s and early ’30s and drawn by Ford’s chief designer E.T. Gregorie, the Speedster was based on a 1934 Ford frame but underwent major surgery to appear longer and lower, and has recently been restored to its original specifications, making it as authentic as any 1940 model could reasonably be.Edsel Ford’s 1934 Model 40 Special Speedster

After getting acclimated to the time change and getting over jetlag, I have been exploring all aspects of London, UK. Everything from culture, food and drink, music, art, and of course fashion and style. Over the next few weeks I will be sharing the VF in London experience with you here, on Velo Fashion’s official blog. As some of you may know I am studying fashion design at Colorado State University and am taking classes in London at AIU for creative drape and fashion styling.

Classes are fantastic and it is easy to get inspired by all things London—the people, the buildings, the history, the diversity. I have definitely met some awesome people here and seen some characters, like this guy for example; passed out at 9am in probably the most uncomfortable position ever.

View of St. Paul’s and the Millennium Bridge from Southwark. However I was a little pissed off when I found out my parents lied to me when I found this bridge still standing.

Tower Bridge.

This is Camden Town, one of the most weird, but rad places I have ever been. In which is located a rave clothing megastore called “cyberdog.” It had everything from light up things, fuzzy things, child raver things and other assorted things. However the highlight of the store, hidden in the basement, was the room full of sex toys, and really creepy fetish gear. I got scared. I left.

Overall the trip has been fantastic. I will post more photos, stories, and adventure notes soon! Until then:
Cheers from London,
